Encyclopedic Child Preschool is a preschool/kindergarten/nursery that welcomes children of all backgrounds and nationalities, from four months to four years of age. We’re the only accredited preschool in the country to follow the International Preschool Curriculum (I.P.C.), the world’s leading early childhood education provider.
Encyclopedic Child Preschool is dedicated to educate the future of our community, both academically and socially. We, at Encyclopedic Child Preschool believe that every child can become a Future Leader in their community and future career. Today is the time to provide to your child the education and social skills to develop his abilities to their maximum potential. In a caring and positive atmosphere we create a warm happy place for children to learn. As we bridge the gap from home to school, we guide children to continued positive self-image while building social skills in a school setting. Sensory, motor, perceptual and language skills are introduced through materials and activities, which are both child-centered and teacher directed.
Our curriculum aims to cover the six areas of learning in a fun and stimulating way, with an emphasis on learning through play and practical activities. The preschool is set in Al Wakra’s Ezdan school building. We’ve got the space and passion to ensure that the environment is welcoming, stimulating and secure for young children of all ages and backgrounds

We’re proud to be the first nursery to introduce the IPC into Qatar. As a flagship school for the IPC, Encyclopedic Child Preschool implements the IPC curriculum and works to high compliance standards. Our teachers are all fully qualified and trained in IPC. The IPC is a comprehensive curriculum for nurseries, preschools, and kindergartens throughout the world.
It’s been designed by early learning specialists, and is constantly updated to reflect educational developments. The curriculum is outcome-based, setting learning objectives such as size and measurement, shapes, colors, phonics, reading preparation, motor and social development, listening and current affairs. Our IPC-trained teachers work to a thematic theme method. For example monthly themes include, ‘Who am I?’, ‘Under the Sea’, and ‘Around the World’. It’s both fun and educational!
The aim of the IPC themes is to nurture global citizens of the world to become: inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk takers, knowledgeable, principled, caring, open minded, well balanced and reflective individuals. This also facilitates them to develop their communication, social, research and self management skills.
Our vision is “To educate the future of our community, both academically and socially believing that
each child is a future leader.”
Encyclopedic Child Preschool aims to create an atmosphere of exploration and discovery throughout the learning environment. From our classrooms to our corridors and staff rooms, students, parents are encouraged to challenge themselves and their thinking. This learning environment is often extended beyond the classroom walls and involves the wider community, supporting connections that are made in the real world since; we aim to foster a culture of life-long learners and critical thinkers.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
The remarkable dedication of the staff at this Nursery ignited a passion for learning in my child, and I’ve been amazed at the strides they have taken in such a short time.
