LLM applicants holding the recognised "FFA" qualification (including students from Trier University Law School and Muenster University Law School in Germany) will automatically qualify for a bursary worth 10% of LLM fees and be granted 20 credits as "accredited prior learning" (APL). For clarity, marks from the FFA will NOT count towards the LLM degree in terms of aggregation and will not therefore be counted into the total average.
Please note: Applicants will only qualify for one automatic scholarship/tuition fee bursary. This does not apply to discretionary scholarships such as the Academic Excellence Scholarship and therefore automatic scholarships may be supplemented with discretionary ones in appropriate cases.

At UEA we are working to create a university now that will be even better in the future. The UEA Sustainable Ways vision is one of a resilient university – where consumption is efficient and self-generated energy supports low carbon goals, supported by a vibrant community of world-leading researchers and inspired graduates. At a basic level, sustainable development at UEA means that we try to balance the ‘three pillars’ of environmental, economic and social elements. We challenge our environmental impact through on-site energy generation and a district heating and cooling network, reducing our reliance on grid electricity and therefore fossil fuels. We promote and use recycled and ‘eco’ products such as biological cleaning materials. We champion local suppliers and ethical causes, including Fairtrade and vegan products. We seek to ensure value for money in a holistic, whole-life costing sense in our new buildings and procurement contracts.
