Job Summary
Jobs at this level are responsible for:
- Analyze and review the pre-launch feasibility studies related to Mobile/Fixed Broadband Commercial & Capital projects and highlight it’s financial impact on the company’s short and long term business plan.
- Support in financial assessments to new Fixed and Mobile Broadband capital expenditure CAPEX projects by building comprehensive financial planning, revenue/costing models include CAPEX/OPEX and valuation of projects using concept of the TVM and all future cash flows are estimated and discounted by using cost of capital to give their present values. Manage these projects to get the proper approvals from organization’s CXOs and BOD.
- Developing analysis for new market trends (MNP), strategic directions and technology potential synergies (B2B) to understand its impact on company performance.
- Prepared company’s financial, commercial & operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and compared actual performance against both the company’s budget and the competitors’ figures to ensure achieving short and long term business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial and pricing sensitivity analysis, break even analysis & maximum exposure analysis through identifying suitable pricing and margin range for new and existing products and services (Consumer and Enterprise for Fixed broadband and Mobile broadband services) to maintain profitability.
- Develop financial models for business cases to assess the profitability margins of new products & services propositions through performing deep analysis on services & products (Consumer/Corporate MBB & FBB).
- Assess financial requirements and impact of new and existing customer retention offers (Consumer and Corporate for mobile and fixed technologies). Validate sales volume and revenue cannibalization and migration effect on other existing propositions.
- Provided business/financial analysis & support via working with unit heads; by creation of revenue/expense driver based models to assist with forecasting, ROI projections and track post expenditure performance.
- Prepared corporate performance presentations to the Executive Committee (ExCom); CEO, CFO and Senior Executives on W/M/Q/Yly basis to ensure it is in line with the business plan.
- Proactively implemented ways to improve the financial performance by analyzing the causes of key variances that impact achieving financial targets; flagging operational risks and opportunities; providing early warning to deviations and alert management to business trends.
Qualifications/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
- ACCA| IFRS International Financial Reporting Certificate, CMA| Certified Management Accountant Certificate, Certificate of Financial Modeling and Corporate Valuation, Certificate of Risk Management;, Chase Manhattan Credit and Investment Course (Credit Certificate)
Required Experience
4 years of experience in the quality/knowledge management at technology/telecommunication industry.
