Genesis Christian College

Genesis Christian College is a thriving, caring, independent, co-educational Christian school, founded in 1991. Genesis caters for over 1,500 students on one dynamic site.

Our College is home to

• Little Genesis, our early learning center caring for children from 6 weeks to Kindergarten age
• Primary School – Prep to Year 6
• Middle School – Years 7 to 9
• Senior School – Years 10 to 12 students
• Genesis Out of School Hours Care (GOSHC) for primary school children. Little Genesis provides before and after school care for our Prep students.

Genesis is one of the few Prep to Year 12 Christian schools on Brisbane’s northside to offer such a comprehensive and balanced education. We provide a safe Christ-centered environment and learning community where together we nurture and guide students in developing individual pathways in preparation for navigating life’s journey.

Our students range in age from four years old through to eighteen years. At each point along their learning and personal development journeys, students are provided with an education that cares for the whole child.  Our dedicated staff deliver a distinctive and innovative curriculum. It aims to develop academic, spiritual, social, emotional and physical excellence while building resilience, character and ability.  A Genesis education is rich with opportunities and our approach to teaching and learning is holistic and student-centered.

We’re an extremely busy department with a lot of activities and programs happening throughout the year. Our programs are specifically aimed at developing Christ-like behaviour and providing students with skills that prepare them for modern life in and out of school.

The team has a common desire to see families “do life well”. The team provides pastoral care, life skills coaching both in and out of the classroom and are involved in weekly Chapels so the students are continually growing in their knowledge.
