We are a group of professional parents who want a different education for our children; a Montessori education. We want small class sizes, a homely after-school, homework support, quality food, optional extra-curricular activities like languages and music and all provided within a calm, safe environment.
We are not a private business, but a non-profit Company Limited by Guarantee and run by the parents. The Georgian Montessori Primary School aims to ensure that children from all backgrounds are respected and welcomed. We offer a Social Diversity and Compassionate Programme which ensures that children of diverse social backgrounds and circumstances have the opportunity to benefit from a Montessori education and realise their potential.
The Georgian Montessori Primary School, staffed by fully qualified teachers and complemented by students in teacher training, caters for children between the ages of three and twelve years of age. The school is availing of the playground, sports facilities and green areas in Mountjoy Square for regular daily outdoor play and activities. We’re currently offering the following extra-curricular activities: Swimming, French, Music, Speech & drama.
The Georgian Montessori Primary School is offering excellent childcare inclusive of Montessori education for children up to 12 years. Thanks to our team of professional and caring staff working parents can feel assured that their children’s physical, psychological and educational needs are met and that the children are happy. We aim to make afterschool care as enjoyable as possible and allow plenty of free play time to create a home from home environment.
