The school premises has a green cover of almost 2 acres. We ensure to keep our surrounding clean and green.

Not only this we have developed our own school forest named Aranya, which is taken care of by students and staff collectively. The forest has trees of various kinds which are labelled and marked with information. Students are taken to the forest often for learning beyond classrooms. The Aranya Project has also been awarded for its innovation.

Apart from this, the school also runs on Solar Power and does not use electricity from MSEB. The Solar Panel installed in the school is also an initiative of the students of the school.

The day at GGIS begins with 0 period where students are engaged in 1 sports or outdoor activity of their choice.

PE is not just another period in the school timetable. The Sports Department of the school carefully plans out each session for each class on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.

Classes in GGIS are conducted are pre-planned. The curriculum is well planned with detailed pedagogy for each session. Pedagogy planning is a weekly, monthly and annual process. Every week lesson planning is done and recorded in pedagogy sheets for the upcoming week.

Innovation and Technology are important parts of the teaching learning process at our campus.

Currently we have 3 streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities for Grade XI ad XII with multiple subject options.
