We work with many public schools, private schools, tutoring centres and various other institutions to provide students an alternative learning option to obtain their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Canada eSchool is a private secondary school authorized by the Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada to grant credits in over 40 online secondary school courses. The courses we offer lead to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), and are accepted by universities and colleges in Canada, the UK and around the world.

Canada eSchool (CES) was established in 2002 with a mission to make education available to all students who wish to obtain their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), yet for various reasons find it difficult to attend traditional classroom courses. This includes:

• Students who would like to add an online course to their existing secondary school timetable.
• Students who are seeking entry into a college or university program and are missing a necessary prerequisite which their own local secondary school is not offering.
• Students who wish to upgrade an existing mark.
• Students who are pursuing careers in professional athletics, theatre or arts and must travel a great deal during the school year.
• International students who wish to obtain the OSSD in order to pursue post-secondary education anywhere in the world.
• To do this CES has created an exciting Internet-based, secondary school curriculum that can be accessed anywhere and anytime! We provide flexible scheduling and flexible completion times for all courses.
• Students can choose their own learning path, place, time and pace.

Our school works with many public schools, private schools, tutoring centers and other institutions to assist students who require flexible start dates. Students may register for courses through our agents/ partners, our website, or by contacting our school admissions office. We operate year round. All of the courses offered are authorized by the Ministry of Education for Ontario. As an Inspected Private School we can issue you an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

The educational leadership team at eSchool has over 50 years of educational experience in Ontario. This team has been creative and imaginative in developing and implementing ways for students to be successful. All course teachers are members in good standing of the Ontario College of Teachers. Our school and its courses run 24-7. You can contact your teacher and access course material whenever and from wherever you choose. Our registration is ongoing and we do not need a full class to run a course. We are ready when you are. In 2016, Canada eSchool became a wholly owned subsidiary of Columbia International College (CIC). CIC recently celebrated its 40^th anniversary in the city of Hamilton, Ontario Canada. Canada eSchool is able to leverage the resources of CIC, the largest private boarding school in Ontario.  This partnership with CIC makes Canada eSchool unique among private online high schools.

In order to better serve our students, parents, and education centres in Ontario and around the globe, we are able to use the extensive services available at CIC . This gives Canada eSchool the ability to provide students everywhere the support they need to improve their grades and earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

Canada eSchool is an Ontario based private online secondary school which caters to the educational needs of secondary school students around the world. The primary focus of our school is to make available a quality education to those students who aspire to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma that is recognized and accepted by colleges and universities in Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom and the rest of the world.

Our school is regularly inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education. The purpose of the Ministry inspection is to confirm that the standard of instruction is satisfactory in courses leading to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). This means the structure of the courses, the quality of the teaching, and the work of the students must be consistent with the Ministry of Education’s Ontario Schools Kindergarten to grade 12 Policy and Program Requirements document. All courses are constructed in accordance with Growing Success: Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting in Ontario Schools, 2010.

eSchool takes an accommodating approach to secondary school student learning. We understand that students are often faced with limited course offerings, less than desirable timetables, time constraints and difficulties studying. Our e-learning platform provides a flexible and attractive alternative to regular day school.
