Since 1975, our teaching and research have been focused on addressing the most important social and environmental issues of our time. Today, that mission is as relevant as ever.
Social and environmental responsibility drive everything we do, from pioneering teaching in modern Asian studies and environmental science to our long-time support for First Peoples, social justice and sustainable practices.
Consistently ranking in the top 2 per cent of universities globally, our degrees are designed with industry in mind, the future in our sights, and social impact at heart.
With more than 55,000 students, our community spans five campuses across South East Queensland plus our Digital campus, complemented by a global alumni network of over 200,000 graduates.
We know the world can, and should, be a better place—for everyone. And in helping thousands of different people create a brighter future for themselves, we're doing our part to create a brighter future for all.
We’re proud to have the largest Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student population of any university in Queensland, with our campuses set within one of the fastest growing Indigenous populations in Australia.
Through our work with Indigenous Elders, we continue to develop Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement strategies and partnerships for community empowerment, as well as a curriculum informed by respect for the knowledge systems of our First Peoples.
Our Indigenous research development also aims to further the aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and promote reconciliation, respect, education and engagement.

Horrible experience, did not learn a thing, waste of time and money sticking to diplomas at least then I actually learn something rather than have incompetent lecturers and course coordinators who offer no help or constructive criticism and blame you for how lousily the course is set up. so if you are in to wasting time and money and getting no where in life feel free to study at Griffith QCA. Hope it gets shut down!!!!

The experience at Griffith was amazing for the first 3 years. The academic staff were very helpful and the university had a lot of support mechanisms. However, this year they have been stepping back with the trimester with little consultation or feedback from students to begin with. Been a final year student trimester made my final year a total nightmare with all the deadlines falling on to the same week and having insufficient breaks in the final sem.

Griffith University has the most disgusting assessment marking standard. Unfair, unlawful and never consistent with the correct standard. More importantly, they never acknowledge and correct their mistakes no matter how obvious they are. They only care about their so-called ‘face’ and you are no more than a dollar sign to them. However, if this University can’t face their mistakes or even refuse to admit they have any mistakes at all, then this University has no faces whatsoever. Till they at least admit and correct their mistakes of their assessment marking standard, spend your valuable money and time elsewhere.

Beware ,Admin department International compliance never really care about student problems and emergencies. Teaching staff will fail you deliberately with a margin of 1 or 2 marks and makes you wait for 6 months. All they concerned about is making money. My only mistake was to join in this university. I totally Regret studying in Griffith university. Bcoz of the administration department laziness and greed for Money I lost 1 whole year and wasted around 16000$. Worst Educational Institute ever. I am filings a law suit against this University.

Griffith seriously need to get their act together. As an international student you will have to pay three times more than domestic students and you will not recieve any form of help or guidence. If you have any questions regarding financial aid or experience any sort of trouble you will simply spend all day on our phone or email being bounced around like a ping-pong ball in order to find someone who will be able to help you. As one of the leading univerities in Queensland my expectations were much higher and I am sorry on behalf of all students who have recieved the same costumer service as I have. Sadly this has happened on nomerous occasions and when paying close yo $9000 a semester, this is simply not acceptable.

An okay university that I was happy to study with. Overall I felt they offered decent programs. However the parking is terrible, it was always difficult to find a park.

Ive studied my Bachelors Degree and am currently studying a double Postgraduates Degree. I have to say that Griffith University Nathan Campus has offered me so many amazing experiences and the opportunity to take charge of my learning. They are not perfect but their staff are so friendly and helpful.
