Built with purpose

GCAS was established in 2009 by Abu Dhabi Airports, the operator of the five major airports in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in order to lead the development of the aviation industry in the UAE and the region by producing highly qualified aviation professionals.

Endorsed training provider

GCAS is the world’s first International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) TRAINAIR PLUS training member; a fully certified and endorsed aviation training institution by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the UAE and is accredited by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET).

Our Facilities

GCAS is located in the heart of Abu Dhabi city, right on the apron of Al Bateen Executive Airport, the region’s only executive private jet airport, making it among very few aviation training centres of its kind in the world.

Our ultra-modern centre incorporates:

  • 11 fully equipped training rooms
  • Three conference and lecture rooms
  • Break out rooms
  • An advanced IT lab and CBT-online learning centre
  • Business centre
  • Recreational centre
  • Resident and visiting trainer and lecturer offices
  • Dining room and catering facilities
  • Building-wide WiFi high-speed internet

The campus is a twenty minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport and a mere ten minutes from the central business district of Abu Dhabi.

We can recommend multiple hotels a short distance of the centre that offer students comfortable accommodation.
