Our children have positive attitudes to learning, high standards of behaviour and excellent attainment across the curriculum. The school has supportive parents, carers, governors and inspiring, skilled teachers and excellent support staff. Pupils are provided with appropriate academic challenges and the breadth and quality of education beyond the core subjects is excellent. We employ specialist teachers for Music, MFL and PE.

We are extremely proud of the varied opportunities that are offered to pupils across the curriculum and as extra-curricular activities. The impressive range of extra-curricular activities are constantly changing and currently include cross country, korfball, hockey, drama, art, choir, orchestra, football, gymnastics, netball, athletics, tennis and homework club.

Our pupils have opportunities to learn through a wide range of educational visits and events, including residential trips in Year 4 and 6. There is a shared drive to constantly review, improve and enrich our curriculum to ensure learning is relevant and exciting for all pupils.

If you are in the process of applying for school places, please come and visit us on one of our Open Days. It is important that you see the school in action and get a sense of it ‘at work’; this will help you to make the important decision about your child’s primary school education.
