We believe in stimulating children to be the best they can be and develop a love of learning in its widest sense. To achieve this we provide exceptionally varied opportunities including an amazing outdoor environment and our extremely creative Community Curriculum.
In addition to our high expectations for English and maths, children enjoy playing in our orchestra, inventing in our art studio and participating in a wide range of sports locally. Strong relationships with our families lie at the heart of everything we do and we have a thriving Parent Teacher Association (Friends of Heathbrook Primary) that supports our vision and values.
Ours is a caring school where the children are warmly received and encouraged throughout their time with us to ‘aim high’, fulfil their potential and engage with all the opportunities the school has to offer. We firmly believe that for this to be best achieved we must establish a genuine partnership between home and school. We pride ourselves on open communication, so if you have any questions or comments regarding the website or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact the office, your child’s classteacher or me.
We work closely with parents and carers, partners and the wider community to ensure the success of our children. We believe that your children deserve the best possible chances in life and that they learn best when there are strong links between home and school.
At Heathbrook we create a thriving community of life-long learners within an emotionally enabling, creative environment. Our offer of rich, varied and purposeful experiences enables our children to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to achieve their dreams and exceed expectations. Through working in partnership with pupils, parents, carers, governors and local partners, learners are engaged, their imaginations stimulated and individuality cherished.

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
Their student is an inclusive, cross cultural, can do, individual who has been nurtured across a spectrum of learning, a context of sports, music, science, field trips, residentials. A Heathbrooker knows how to listen, work hard, have fun, but above all, he knows how to be heard, and will strive to get what he wants. Heathbrook is a great local preparation for life.

My son goes here. Heathbrook is a safe place where you can be yourself, whether academic, musical, sporty, arty or just like being in nature in the Wildlife Garden.
My daughter is about to enter Year Ten in secondary school and now volunteers at Heathbrook once a week, my Year Seven son is already talking about when he can go back and do the same.

It is a place where differences are celebrated – children from many backgrounds both cultural and economic forge firm friendships that continue long after moving onto secondary school.

Anyone who is looking to send their child to a school where teachers know your children as individuals, there is a strong sense of community and a body of parents who will be your friends both inside and outside the grounds, should definitely go and take a look at Heathbrook. After two children, and eleven years, we are very sad to be saying goodbye.
Both my children felt valued by the other children and staff (teaching and non-teaching), and were encouraged to 'be the best that they can be' while they were there.

This is a great school that makes great collaborative individuals. Our son has thrived here, and with some sadness he is now leaving, and we are leaving the area - we will miss this pillar of our community.
Kids here have confidence. It's always surprising to see the cross year friendships. This isn't a place where each year is isolated. Across learning, sports, and just being around most kids could name most other kids in the school. It's impressive that they learn and share well.

We could not be happier with the start that Heathbrook has given to our son. He started in Reception this year, and under the leadership of the current Head, Ben Roberts, the school is really thriving. An amazing find; a school that nurtures the holistic development of every individual child as its core priority, no matter what their starting point. Just been recognised within the Top 100 Performing and Improving Primary Schools 2016 in the whole country which is very impressive and in our experience thoroughly deserved!

Fantastic School. Attended in the 90's and am now working in a school myself. A great start to life!

A great school. It that has a massive focus on art, music, sport and outdoor learning in addition to the emphasis on reading, writing and maths these days.

Heathbrook is a wonderful school, both my sons have thrived there. They have met great friends and have been taught by outstanding, creative and dedicated teachers. The school has a strong sense of community spirit and works closely with parents to develop many aspects of school life including the much used and loved wildlife garden, the ambitious art room and the fabulous annual summer and Christmas fairs
My eldest son (who has since moved onto secondary school) had some great sporting experiences at Heathbrook including the amazing opportunity of representing Heathbook in the National Lacrosse Tournament in 2012 in year 6. Heathbrook played against schools from across the country and came 5th nationally, a huge achievement and a unique experience for the pupils involved. My youngest son has benefited from the schools partnership relationship with the Royal Festival Hall, through years 3 and 4 his class visited the Festival Hall most weeks to take part in a vast range of creative activities, the highlight being both year 4 classes performing 'Noye's Fludde' opera alongside professional opera singers in the Clore Ballroom to a large audience. Another unique opportunity we cherish and which highlights the benefits of living in London with all these amazing institutions a short bus ride away and a school progressive enough to take advantage of these opportunities.
