Heritage College Adelaide is one of five Heritage Colleges in Australia established to support Christadelphian families in the education and spiritual development of their children. Our school is a safe, caring and supportive environment where Bible-based values are respected and promoted. This positive foundation complements our focus on high quality education within an effective learning community.

Our aim is to assist all students to realise their full potential and achieve their goals by encouraging them to strive for excellence and to use their talents in the service of others and for the glory of God. We warmly invite you to visit the College. We would be delighted to show you around and give you the opportunity to talk to our staff and students about what Heritage College can offer your child.

Our Mission Heritage College is dedicated to providing a God-centred educational environment that assists all students to achieve their full potential by encouraging them to strive for excellence, to use their talents in the service of others and for the glory of God. Our Objectives

  • To assist the development of godliness in children based on the Word of God, in support of the role of parents.
  • To provide a quality education within a biblical context to encourage each student to develop his or her full potential (intellectual, social and emotional).
  • To create a safe, happy and spiritual environment where each member of the school community feels loved, valued and respected.
  • To assist with the development of skills necessary to earn a living and for a life in Christ.
  • To encourage respect for authority and the standards of the College.
  • To operate the College in a manner which makes it accessible to as many Christadelphian children as practicable.

In 1993, a working committee formed by the IEAC investigated the feasibility of establishing a Christadelphian school in Adelaide, and returned a positive recommendation to proceed.  The location of the school was initially to be the Golden Grove Ecclesial Hall, but when this was not possible, the interim Council negotiated the purchase of land and buildings on the site of the former Hillcrest Hospital.  The main building on the 3.5 hectare site was renovated in 52 days and opened in late January, 1996 as an R-7 School with an enrolment of 105 students.

Heritage is a great school with a spirit of caring for its students. Our children are provided with a high quality academic education, resulting in above- or well-above average scores in testing. This is supported by nurturing and developing good character, based on Biblical principles. The children have access to support staff, an excellent Musical program, Sports teams and so on. In recent years, the addition of school musicals have been wonderful, and there are many various improvements of late. No school is perfect, or completely free of bullying, however we have felt that the staff and Principal have been very good at managing any issues that have come up, as they inevitably do. I am very pleased to recommend Heritage College to any prospective Christadelphian family.

This school does Not live up to its hype - only the well-known & extensive families get the most attention & priority, it’s very clicky & segregated amongst the kids, individual interests and talents are Not explored or catered for, and bullying is rife but not recognised or adequately dealt with. Very disappointing!!
