Higher Education Expo China (HEEC) is a premier, comprehensive, and professional event hosted by the China Association of Higher Education (CAHE) and organized by Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions CO., LTD. (Reed Sinopharm) with support from local education authorities and people's governments. The Expo showcases modern educational equipment, facilitates academic exchanges in higher education, promotes teaching reform achievements, offers professional development for faculty, supports the commercialization of research outcomes, incubates innovative enterprises, and provides technical, talent, and trade services—all in a single, integrated platform.
HEEC was established in 1992 as the National Higher Education Instruments and Equipment Exhibition previously hosted by the former National Education Commission. Having successfully held 63 editions across 25 cities, it has formed a collaborative network of “partner cities” with Qingdao, Chongqing, Hefei, Fuzhou, Changchun, and Nanchang to further promote regional coordinated innovation and development. In 2025, HEEC underwent a major upgrade, transitioning to an annual event to enhance overall quality and efficiency. Today, HEEC has evolved into a highly integrated brand exhibition in the higher education field. It serves as a vital showcase for China's achievements in higher education development and stands as a monument to the continued modernization of higher education in China.
