As you go through the journey, you’ll learn of the various challenges of Space! How you can overcome those challenges, and reach Mars. Use Math and Science aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards to apply them for your mission to Mars! This space camp has been innovated by experts in Space and strategically aligned to the launch of The Hope Probe on the 15th of July, 2020. We promise inspiration for the next generation of space scientists and the future of the UAE! The Hope Academy, 10-day Virtual Camp will deliver the following:
  • Day 1 – Mars: Introduction to Mars and why humans venture into Mars & Intro to Emirates Mars Mission
  • Day 2 – The Soul: Introduction to fundamentals of materials and electric circuits
  • Day 3 – Energy: Introduction to different forms of energy and how satellites power themselves
  • Day 4 – Rays of Hope: Different types of sensors in a satellite and their functions
  • Day 5 – Imaging: Satellite imagery and introduction to image sensors and how light is processed to form an image
  • Day 6 – Hopemakers: Introduction to 3D designing along with 3D designing the hope probe
  • Day 7 – Race Against Time: Introduction to planetary and satellite orbits and the science behind orbits
  • Day 8 – Reaching for The Stars: Learn how to make your own rocket & launch them
  • Day 9 – The Star Chase: Students take part in a treasure hunt, learning the priceless information about the universe
  • Day 10 – Final Launch: Students take part in the final challenge to win exciting prizes and receive a certificate endorsed by the UAE Space Agency
