Job Summary
Jobs at this level are responsible for managing the day to day operations of Human Resources activities including supervising collation of requisite HR data, managing routine tasks in the design of frameworks, conducting training need analysis, organizing internal training programs and reviewing relevant reports. Also, they are responsible for reviewing all technical reports and forwarding to the immediate senior, for analysis and approval.
Core Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Conduct training needs analysis at the organizational, division and individual levels in order to ensure a comprehensive assessment of organizational learning needs.
- Maintain the corporate training calendar on the basis of identified training needs and circulates them in the organization.
- Provide information on corporate training courses availability to participants. Act as a point of contact for employees who are registered for the corporate courses.
- Organize internal training programs by performing review of participant lists, distributing relevant training material and assisting in the training administration.
- Assist in the development and implementation of on-the-job training techniques and methods in the organization to enable experiential learning among employees.
Generic Role
- Manage the day to day team operations within a specified scope, by undertaking related work processes and ensuring accuracy.
- Resolve escalated queries related to periodic HR surveys and forwards the same to seniors, for complex issue resolution.
- Participate in conducting research to stay abreast of best practices in order to bring forward ideas for continuous improvement in relevant policy areas.
- Assist in the payment procedures for all work outsourced to third parties and reports the budget status on a regular basis to immediate senior.
- Review technical reports related to human resource activities, in a timely manner, as applicable to the role.
- Handle identification of any recurring process issues or discrepancies and makes recommendations to improve current processes.
- Support team members and resolves routine queries to ensure work continuity.
- Liaise with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.
Technical & ICT Training Delivery
- Ensures end-to-end technical and ICT trainings delivery and manages its administration
- Ensures maintaining the needed technical facilitates, tools, and labs for all technical and ITC programs
- Maintains detailed training courses and schedules
- Oversees the process of enrolling participants for Technical & ICT Training Programs courses and following up to ensure participation
- Conducts external research, benchmarking, content and delivery model
- Builds /reviews training content, and ensures adherence to L&D standardization
- Ensures consolidation of the required training material and liaises with the Documentation Management Department to update training material on the database.
- Laisses with Employee Services department to ensure participants’ profiles are updated.
- Oversee the attendance of participants in all management training,
- Coordinating with vendors on schedule of trainings delivered
- Ensures the availability of new methods and conduct market intelligence to benchmark against existing local and global best practices
- Oversees the management of end-to-end delivery and administration activities of conferences related to ICT and technical areas in order to enhance and develop employees’ knowledge, and skills
- Oversees the management of end-to-end delivery and administration activities of external/ internal Technical & ICT Programs training delivery in order to enhance and develop employees’ knowledge &Skills.
Vendor Management
- Oversees the relationship with external training providers and ensures coordination with the vendors on trainings schedules and required attendance.
- Ensures that vendors are provided support to communicate the training schedule and participant list to the concerned parties.
- Oversees the process of appropriate implementation of technical trainings as part of technology contracts with suppliers.
Qualifications/ Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Administration/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, ICT related degree or equivalent
- Master’s degree in Human Resources/Business Administration/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, ICT related degree or equivalent
Years of Experience
A minimum of 4 – 6 years of relevant experience.
Nature of Experience
Prior experience in managing ICT training and programs and activities for a large organization area.
Desired Skills & Knowledge
- Intermediate proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Intermediate proficiency in business acumen
- Intermediate proficiency in end – to -end human resource process design and implementation
- Intermediate proficiency in report writing
