This scholarship, worth up approximately $350, is available to Australian and International graduate research History students to help with the cost of travelling overseas for research purposes. Applicants to the Faculty of Arts Graduate Research International Grant will automatically be considered for the award.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

  • Be a graduate research student
  • Be studying history at the University of Melbourne
  • Have submitted a Arts Graduate Research International Grant (AGRIG) application
  • Be planning to travel overseas as part of your research
  • Have had your research confirmed or have completed your formal review successfully.

Conditions

Recipients are required to:

  • Accept award online within 21 days
  • Submit a final report

Ian Robertson
Family and friends of Ian Robertson established the Ian Robertson Travel Prize to commemorate the outstanding contribution that he made to the research culture of the Department of History. Ian Robertson was a senior lecturer in the department from 1961 to 1997.
