ICS is much more than just a school; it is a vibrant caring community here in the wonderful city of Amman.
Inclusivity is enshrined in all that we do, and we are proud to be able to meet the needs of such a wide spectrum of abilities from the very most able Oxbridge or Ivy League aspirants to students with mild to moderate learning or physical needs, and everyone in between. Home to over 700 students, representing over 60 different nationalities, ICS is a truly international, co-educational day school offering a high quality education to students aged 3-18.

It is an independent, private and non-profit organisation owned by the Society for the International Community in Jordan (SICJ). We are proud of the fact that every Dinar of fees is used to create the very best provision from which our children benefit every single day. Our stakeholders are our students and wider community.

ICS follows the English National Curriculum (ENC), modified to our local and international context, all teaching is conducted in English by English-speaking, UK qualified teachers. All students study a broad and balanced curriculum, drawing on the very best of British, Jordanian and international education.

Our senior students study for IGCSEs and A Levels, the gold standard of pre-university qualifications worldwide, with some students also taking the SAT and commonly applying for undergraduate schools in the USA and Canada.

Many international families switch to the British curriculum because of its transferability and competitive nature for university entry, in addition to its advanced milestones in lower primary, for example, learning to read at a young age.
