The International Indian School, Riyadh (Formerly Embassy of India School, Riyadh) has come of age. It was founded on 9th October 1982. Thirty eight Successful Years in the age of any educational institution does, in itself vouch for the perpetual 'elan vital' that has kept it growing from strength to strength. This English medium school run separately for boys and girls, exists, because of a community requirement. It sustains itself with the help of the community. The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), New Delhi, India and is licensed under the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The School endeavors to move towards fulfilments of above goals under the kind patronage and able guidance of His Excellency Dr Ausaf Sayeed, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom, and the Patron of the school.
The School follows C.B.S.E. Syllabus. The curriculum in each subject area reflects a coherent, orderly progression through the grades. There is a definite unity and co-ordination of subject matter among the various subjects in each grade. The School prepares the pupils for the All India Sr. Secondary and Secondary School Examination conducted annually by CBSE, New Delhi. The school follows the C.B.S.E. syllabus of studies in the following subjects.

I attended here during the late 90s and early 00s. But left before reaching X standard. The CBSE syllabus has it's plus points. The school and teachers have influenced me and shaped me into the person I am today.
