If you are looking for a university were you can express yourself freely and learn from extraordinary good qualified academic stuff you should be here at Şehir. You will need very good English language skills here since your courses will be all in English. Also you will have the opportunity to meet students from nearly all over the world. Different than a typical Turkish university the buildings are not made to make you feel just want to leave than after classes but you will be staying there for long time till midnight or even the mornings. It will become a new home for you. Also since it is a private university you will have lots of opportunities for your personal career planing and your own projects.

If you are thinking of applying to this university, I strongly advice you to thoroughly read everything I have to say as an ex-student. This university is an absolute scam. They only want your money. They do not care at all about your education or well being whatsoever. I applied and they accepted me immediately. half way through my semester, they block me as a student because they required A Levels for me to be ‘eligible'. So I asked them, why did they accept me in the first place?! This university put me through the worst time of my life, asking me to go and pay more money to complete the A level examinations even though they had already sent me an official acceptance letter and I had already started my classes/exams at their university and so on. I talked to them about how ridiculous this situation was and they still did not care. They did not help me at all. I literally wasted my time at this university and they took all my money, I hope they’re happy! Not only that, but they block you as a student without even informing you or asking you what the problem is first. They don't care about their students at all. I’m aware of this because I’m not the only student in their university who was asked to go do their A levels, MANY students had the same problem as me and they couldn’t do anything about it. It’s completely unfair and 100% the universities fault for accepting us in the first place. It’s quite simple, if we aren’t eligible, DON’T ACCEPT US. Also, they lied straight to my face when i faced them with this issue. They said “we gave you a conditional acceptance” which is FALSE. I have the official acceptance as PROOF, they never even warned me about this. The fact that they lied and MANIPULATED me into attending their university just so they can steal my money, is absolutely pathetic. NO STUDENT deserves to go through what I went through with this university. I completely wasted my whole year here taking exams and attending courses, just so they can tell me it was all for nothing. Another thing! not only are there problems with the admissions, but with the actual professors and courses themselves. ALL of the professors do not speak good English. there were some classes they would literally just speak in Turkish the whole class!! when I had applied to English courses! Pathetic. I also had one professor who would come into class and teach us about something so extremely thoroughly and the next day, come to class and say “sorry guys… everything I taught you yesterday was wrong. Please erase it.” This university not only scams you, but has the worst professors. Thank you Sheir, for completely draining me as a student and putting me through the worst time of my life.
