Jeewan Jyoti

I hold a degree of M.Tech in Environmental Engineering in 2009-2011 and M.Sc.(Hons) Environmental Sciences in 2007-2009.B.Sc, B.Ed. I am enthusiastic to apply my knowledge and key skills gained through my studies.

My studies have assist me in gaining relevant technical skills in testing and monitoring water quality and provided an understanding of contaminants such as soil, groundwater for the general protection of human health. Field Studies during my M.Tech degree on “Evaluation and Mapping of Groundwater Quality of Ludhiana City” helped me to understand contamination in groundwater, its health effects on human beings and also helped me in learning GIS mapping. Course field trips, volunteering activities, attending and delivering seminars and conferences on environmental issues have also added to my abilities to understand our environment and increase my knowledge.

Presently working as a Teacher at The Westminster School, Dubai dealing with core subjects Math and Science. Earlier I joined at Jal Nigam , Lucknow as a Resource Person under UNICEF supported program i.e. WASH in Health Centres. I was associated with Jhpiego , Lucknow Since May 2015 to August 2016 as Senior Program Coordinator. Earlier from July, 2014 till March 2015 I was associated with Jhpiego, Lucknow as a consultant under program M4M (Merck for mothers) in which i mainly look after infection prevention and biomedical waste management in Private sector Hospitals. the program is in 6 cities of UP Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad and Meerut.
