John Aibinu

I am an economist specializing in banking, financial, monetary, and public finance, with extensive experience in economic policy, data analysis, and technology. Over the past 6 years, I have honed my skills in teaching and conducting research, focusing on areas such as banks’ exposure to systemic risk, impacts of macroprudential policy and finance-climate change risk. With a thorough understanding of finance and economic theory and its practical applications, I am well able to forecast market trends and consumer behaviour over a wide range of time. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with students, encouraging a deeper understanding of economics and its impact on society. Below are just some of my educational roles.

Universite de Limoges Lecturer/Teaching Assistant September 2020-March 2023

• I have participated in teaching several courses at the Universite de Limoges covering both master’s and Undergraduate courses in Economics. These courses include Statistics, Econometrics, Banking and Finance, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Economics of Banking etc.
• Conduct lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various undergraduate and postgraduate economics courses.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student understanding and engagement.
• Provide guidance to students on research projects and assignments, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
