Jus'T'Learn is a registered independent school and OFSTED regulated tuition centre located in the heart of Mitcham town centre with easy access by car, bus, tram and underground.At Jus'T'Learn, we take pride in the content we deliver to our students and the service we provide. We work in partnership with schools, local authorities and other relevant professionals to ensure that all students are working towards building the pathway to their future.

Having outstanding tutors is an important factor in ensuring we provide each of our students the correct guidance they require for their educational needs. At Jus'T'Learn, we ensure that all our tutors have been vetted and DBS accredited as well as come from education-led backgrounds to ensure they understand the National Curriculum and the requirements of each student.

Jus‘T’Learn offers a curriculum that is broad and balanced and that reflects the National Curriculum.All students have the opportunity for GCSE and Functional Skills. Students in Year 10 can follow a two-year course that leads to GCSE. Students in Year 11 have the opportunity of taking GCSE’s and/or follow a vocational programme of study. Our curriculum is delivered through 5 different types of weekly timetable with each day divided into 4 or 5 periods of either 50 minutes and 60 minutes, resulting in approximately 17 hours of teaching per week.

Our Teachers and Tutors will meet the student and teach them during Library Opening Hours. There are a number of library settings that we work from. This value add facility is invaluable for a number of our learners. We are able to support Home Schooling from Learning Resource Centres. We are successfully supporting learners with their careers as far as Maidstone by utilising Learning Resource Centres in the Kent and Medway Towns.

We support learners with Special Educational needs both within the school and the tuition centre. We also cater for learners with Special Educational Needs in their homes. The School has a specialist consultant who can provide advice and guidance to both the School and Key Stakeholders. We have a Portfolio of Teachers and Tutors Specialised to work with Learners who may have Special Educational Needs.We have been able to accommodate learners with Special Educational Needs from a vast array of backgrounds.Students must not be regarded as having a learning difficulty solely because the language or form of language of their home is different from the language in which they are taught.

Throughout the year Just Learn supports various charities in order to support our local community and wider community. This year Just Learn has raised money for MacMillan, Children in Need and Comic Relief. We aim to continue supporting various charities throughout the year.We have also worked very closely with Water Aid in order to providing clean drinking water for families in and around Africa.Supporting charities is important to us as a school community.

Established in February 2012 as a Private Tuition Centre the organisation is now a DFES Registered Independent School and an OFSTED Registered Private Tuition Centre. The School Comprises of sites within Mitcham and caters for learners from all walks of life.

Jus'T’Learn serves students within the local borough as well as students outside of borough such as Merton, Wandsworth, Sutton and Croydon. Community Interaction is Pivotal to the success of our story so far. We aim to continue with this ethos in all our future strategies to continually support you and your learners.Jus‘T’Learn goes above and beyond to support each learner’s individual needs. We aim to support all students during their journey through school and further education.Our main purpose is to provide personalised learning experiences in order for students to achieve and work towards “Building the pathway to your future”.

Our Girls Provision Provides Alternative Education for young girls between the age of 11-16. We have a self contained dedicated site for our Girls which is in close proximity to the main site. We are able to offer learning and development for KS3 and KS4 in addition to our dedicated mentoring staff to support our girls through to Post 16.The aim of this all girl’s intervention is to provide a restorative experience of education within a structured and safe environment. The learning experience of all our students embraces the five areas of Every Child Matters, promoting trust, communication skills, enabling young people to grow in confidence and self-esteem. We reward learning by building relationships based on high expectations and choice.

The all girl’s provision at Jus‘T’Learn Independent School is a means of supporting mainstream schools that have identified the need for an additional intervention for girls who require additional support, outside a mainstream environment. Our school has an inclusive ethos that supports the learning and wellbeing of all students.The aim of this intervention is to actively work towards student reintegration into their mainstream school or reintegration into their next appropriate step. The objective of this intervention is to move the student to a level, socially, emotionally and educationally, where they are better placed to achieve academically.

Teaching staff and teaching assistants model positive relationships and there is an emphasis on the development of language and communication skills and a focus on social, emotional and challenging behaviour.
