King’s School Shenzhen offers a truly all-round education with a wide-ranging curriculum blending with the co-curriculum in a long and full school day. We borrow from the best of China and the UK but give everything our own special King’s twist with a strong emphasis upon creativity and communication. We are a performing school that provides high-quality education so that every student benefits from our excellent teaching and we aim to send our students to top universities globally and prepare them thoroughly for their applications and their further studies. A lot is therefore expected of our students who are stretched without being stressed in both their academic and non-academic pursuits.

We expect good manners, respect and fair play to be shown by everyone so that every pupil can develop his/her full potential and feel positive about him/herself as an individual. All pupils should care for and support each other. All staff should care for and support all pupils equally.As an employer, the School expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff understand and commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children when carrying out their duties. Training in Child Protection is given to all new staff when they join the School and updated regularly during their period of employment. Staff sign to state they have read and understood all the required documents and policies.
