Admission is based on first-come-first-served. Priority admission is offered to siblings of all students, including the students of determination. Admission is not conditional on a medical diagnosis. Reports are requested from families to extend the best support in the holistic learning journey of every student at Bright Riders School. In case of availability of limited spaces, highest priority is given to the siblings of students of determination for admission.
To ensure a productive learning experience for all students at the school, including those with special needs, it is essential that the school and the families work in partnership. This is defined by certain expectations from both parties to set the condition for a successful identification and support mechanism for the students. As a specified guideline defined in KHDA School contract, families are expected to provide the school with copies of all medical, psychological or Bright Riders School Dubai Admission Policy 4 | Page educational assessments or reports before entry to the school. Such materials are a prerequisite in enabling us to provide the best education for your child.
Admission Policy for SOD:
Student of Determination –Student of determination is defined as a student with a long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairment; which, interaction with various barriers which may create a barrier to their full and effective participation in education on an equal basis with those of other peers of the same age.
As per guidelines SOD are those who have a learning difficulty or disability that needs support of special educational provision, where they demonstrate following support for:
Students of Determination are not refused admissions based on their experience of extra support,additional needs or special educational provision.
All applicants seeking admissions have right to sit for admission and undergo entry assessments test as baseline of their levels.
All applicants are fairly assessed based on their strengths,interest and abilities
Provisions will be made to ensure that barriers are reduced or removed during assessment for applicants experiencing SEND.
Students who experience SEND will receive sibling priority subject to availibility of spaces.

Provision of LSA /support in form of therapies depending on child’s needs and readiness to be included in the main-stream school
A copy of the following is required for admission:
A child’s application is considered eligible as per age criteria defined by The UAE Federal law and KHDA guidelines for Indian Curriculum Schools starting their academic session in April. Families are most welcome to tour the School campus within operational hours.
Every applicant is required to appear for an Interactive or Observation Screening session in Kindergarten / Written assessment in Higher Grades for admission. The observations during interaction / assessment enables the School to understand the child’s academic and overall interests. The School will strive to work towards nurturing them to their next levels.
An Admission offer specifying the fee details is emailed to families by the Admissions office. To secure the offered place, families are required to proceed for submission of documents at Admissions office and complete the School fee payment for initial deposit at Accounts office within 10 working days of the receipt of Admission offer (as defined by KHDA School fee framework).
In the unlikely event of an admission cancellation, the School will process the fee refund based on KHDA fee framework guidelines.
