We do this by ensuring students gain everything they need during their time in school to succeed at the highest levels. Our three values – integrity, ambition and determination – are embedded across every aspect of school life. We deliver a rigorous academic curriculum, with expert, supportive teaching, so that students achieve the best qualifications possible.

Importantly, we also value what we call 'education with character'; one that challenges, inspires and excites students and provides a rich variety of experiences and opportunities outside of the classroom. Exemplary learning at Lambeth Academy means there are ‘no excuses’ to achieving exceptional academic success. Positive relationships are used to remove barriers, motivate and challenge our students. The culture and ethos of the academy is based on the belief that traditional basic standards form the basis of ‘exemplary learning’: positive behaviours to learning, attitude, uniform, attendance and punctuality – ‘the little things matter’.What lies at the heart of ‘exemplary learning’ is consistency with all stakeholders being fully committed and uncompromising – ‘exemplary learning’ is everyone’s business at Lambeth Academy.

An innovative and creative approach to both teaching and learning makes education at Lambeth Academy more relevant and exciting. Small class sizes, typically around 24 students per form, help each individual student achieve. Add to this an exciting programme of enrichment and extension activities. Our aim is to bring out ‘The Best in Every'.

We provide a broad education, which prepares young people to progress in learning and to make a success of their lives. We focus sharply on the evidence of what makes it more likely that young people will progress and succeed, apply that to our practice and continue to learn and develop our schools. We make it a priority to provide teachers with excellent professional support and development, so that every child receives an excellent experience.

Through being a group, we can offer more to both staff and young people that any single school could offer alone. The growing range of outstanding group-wide activities that we can provide will mean that more young people will have truly exceptional and inspiring experiences. Already, we believe that our group contains the most developed relationships and practical interaction between independent and state schools in the country, creating benefits for all the schools involved.
