We are excited that you are applying to Rabun Gap! The first step is to fill out the application. The online application reduces paper and allows us to process your application quickly. This process is user-friendly and allows you to enter information 24-hours a day. Applicants may Request Information or Apply Online. You will be prompted to establish a user name and password and then complete the forms. The non-refundable online application fee is $50. If you prefer, we can send a printed application package – the printed application processing fee is $85.
We are now considering applications for the current academic year on a rolling basis, space permitting. Please contact the Admission Office to inquire about space.

Form & Fee
The application must be completed by both the applicant and parent(s) or guardian. Applicants should give thoughtful consideration to all questions and respond in their own words. We encourage all applicants to apply online. The online application reduces paper and allows us to process your application more quickly. The process is user friendly and allows you to enter data 24/7, using secure and customized forms, with a pause-and-resume option and click of a button to submit the completed application to us. All you need to do is click on the Apply Online link, establish a user name and password, and then complete the forms. However, if you prefer, we will gladly send you a hard copy of the application. The application fee is non-refundable and a discount is offered for families using the online option.
Parents, if you are completing the paper application, please carefully complete all sections of the Parent Questionnaire, then return it with the application and application fee to the Admission Office. This form is required and must be in the applicant's file before the file will be presented to the Admission Committee. Please be assured that all information in the questionnaire will be treated in a confidential manner. The online application fee is $50.00 and the hard copy or printed application is $85.00.
Campus Tour & Interview
A personal interview with the applicant and parent is required. We prefer to arrange a personal interview and tour after a student's application is on file. Please call the Admission Office at 706-746-7724 to schedule an appointment for an interview and tour.
Transcripts and Report Cards
For applicants who are enrolled in a school, parent(s) or guardian must sign a Release of Records form requesting an official copy of your child's school record. Please give the Release of Records to the appropriate official at your child's current school with instructions to mail the school record to the Admission Office. The school record must include past grade reports, recent grade reports, attendance and discipline records, and any standardized aptitude and achievement test scores. Evaluation & Recommendation Forms
Grades K-3
Once you begin the online application, you may electronically submit the appropriate evaluation form to the student's teachers. You will need the evaluator's email address. An optional recommendation form is available and may be completed by the child's minister, coach, fine arts teacher, scout leader, or other interested adult.
Grades 4-5
Once you begin the online application, you may electronically submit the three evaluation forms to the following individuals where relevant: principal or counselor, English teacher, and math teacher. Please request that they return the completed forms directly to the Admission Office as soon as possible. An optional recommendation form is available and may be completed by the child's minister, coach, fine arts teacher, scout leader, or other interested adult.
Grades 6-12
Give the three evaluation forms to the following individuals: principal or counselor, English teacher, and math teacher. Please request that the teachers and principal or counselor return the completed forms directly to the Admission Office as soon as possible. An optional recommendation form is available and may be completed by the child's minister, coach, fine arts teacher, scout leader, or other interested adult.
