Our teachers' care extends well beyond the acquisition of academic skills; they are equally dedicated to making sure that their students develop the values and personal qualities that will enable them to lead happy, fulfilled, and successful lives in the future.
As a school, we especially focus on the development of self-management, leadership - in all its forms - communication, and the social and emotional skills that will ensure that students can face the future with confidence, knowing they can adapt to any given situation and flexible enough to enjoy exploring the unknown.
We pride ourselves on ensuring that every student at Mulgrave receives exceptional individual care and support. We understand that unless students are happy and fulfilled, they cannot learn effectively, so we go the extra mile to ensure that they are nurtured and receive the right kind of support to enable them to achieve their personal best in all areas of school life.
In addition to the student’s class teacher or personal advisor, there is a wide range of additional support available from members of our learning support teams and our librarians to our counselling staff and many more. We know that students need good relationships with their teachers and the right kind of support at every stage in their education. We have invested heavily in associate teachers to support our younger students, in specialist support staff to support students to reach a high level in individual subjects, and in university specialists to help with higher education choices and applications.
