Les Petits Gaulois

Les Petits Gaulois works in the continuity of Les Petits Ecoliers, a French preschool opened in Shanghai in September 2011. Les Petits Gaulois opened in September 2014 and welcomes children from 18 months to 6 years old, from the playgroup section to Grande Section (K2). The founder of the two schools, passionate by early childhood, will show you with joy his everyday world.

The school offers French/English bilingual programs in small class groups of maximum 12 children. Our classes are taught by French teachers who graduated from French Education schools and Singaporean teachers approved by the MOE (Level 2). We adopt a method of teaching in which emphasis is given on choosing a specific theme for teaching one or many concepts. The children’s interests are stimulated in a variety of areas such as music, dance, natural sciences and arts. We also offer Mandarin classes, private guitar and piano classes.

The school is located on East Coast, a few minutes from the beach. It provides a warm, stimulating and professional place where children have free access to a variety of resources and equipment dedicated to their social, physical and intellectual development.

Unique to Les Petits Gaulois, we designed a unique, progressive and all-encompassing Curriculum that integrates French National Education program with the requirements of the local school framework from MOE. For children up to three years old, the teaching is in one language (French or English) during the morning and the other language (English or French) during the afternoon. For children aged minimum three, both the French and English language teachers as co-partners in the same classroom, effectively deliver the program at the same time, in French or in English every alternate day. We also provide Mandarin optional classes three times a week for fourty-five minutes, for children enrolled in N1, N2, K1 or K2.

Les Petits Gaulois invites to come and taste the special French cake “La galette des Rois” on January the 16th from 10am till 1pm. This event will also be the opportunity to introduce you to the French culture and its products in a friendly atmosphere. Numerous prizes to be won.

Since September 2015, Les Petits Gaulois has opened new facilities in Siglap. It welcomes children from 2 to 6 years old, from N1 (Toute petite section) to K2 (Grande section). This second campus offers large classrooms and outside playground in a warm, stimulating and professional environment. The first campus located at Lucky Heights is now for toddlers only with appropriate learning corners and outdoor garden.

First day of school for your child? Do not worry, our teachers are there to reassure your little ones. Many activities will be held during the morning in order to get acquainted with other classmates and facilitating smooth integration of each.

To succeed this first day, do not forget to bring a clean pair of sandals to leave at school, a water bottle and a change of clothes for the little ones.

Les Petits Gaulois offers a summer camp open to children from 18 months to 7 years. It is organized from 1 July to 28 August 2015. Many activities are available: Water games, pottery, crafts, cooking, yoga, zumba and many excursions to the park and the beach. You can pay per week for half days or full days. Sign up now.
