Application Fee Baht 4,000

The non-refundable application fee will be paid upon submission of the student’s application.

Entrance Fee Baht 120,000 Per New Student

A one-time non-refundable fee is paid upon confirmation / acceptance of enrollment.
A discount of 25% is applicable towards the entrance fee for siblings of a concurrently enrolled student.

Tuition

Tuition is paid by semester or annually and is not refundable. There are 2 semesters per academic year. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the child’s first day of school for the respective semester or academic year (or by the due date of the invoice).

Meals are included in the tuition.

*The High School program tuition will be advised closer to the program start date.

Sibling discount. A discount of 10% is applicable towards the tuition. This discount applies towards tuition fees of the younger sibling(s) for the academic year only. The discount is valid only while at least two siblings are concurrently enrolled at Montessori Academy Bangkok International School.

General Purpose Deposit

Toddler and Casa Baht 10,000 per academic year

Elementary Baht 40,000 per academic year

Middle School Baht 50,000 per academic year

The General Purpose Deposit is used to cover the cost of supplies, field trips, costumes or props for performances, damaged or lost library books or for other school related activities. Any unused portions of the deposit will be returned at the end of the school year. If students require additional funds to cover the cost of the aforementioned items, an invoice will be sent to parents.

Eal Program

Semester 1 Baht 30,000

Semester 2 Baht 33,750

Full Academic Year Baht 63,750

The EAL Program is an additional avenue to provide support for the development of English for non-native English language learners. Admission to this program is by invitation only based on the needs assessment of the class and EAL teachers. This program is compulsory for students who are recommended to join.

Lessons are either delivered in a small group (2-4 students) setting or individual. Semester 1 includes 40 classes, Semester 2 includes 45 classes. Missed classes will not be refunded or made up, unless the teacher is absent.

Students who need a more intensive support may request for daily EAL. Rates will be pro-rated for the additional days.

Accident Insurance

Montessori Academy Bangkok International School has selected AIA as the group accident insurance provider. We are required to designate a benefactor for each child. The school will default to designating the student’s mother, unless otherwise informed. Relevant student and beneficiary information will be provided to the insurance provider selected by the school for the purpose of student accident insurance application, claims usage, and other relevant usage by the insurance provider.

Additional Expenses

• Uniforms. All uniforms are available through the school shop and must be purchased by parents.
• Computing equipment. Middle School students are required to purchase a computer for use at school and home.
• ECA. Extra-curricular activities are optional and have additional charges.
• Bus Service. Bus service is optional and has additional charges.
• Late Pick-up Fee. A fee be applied for late pick up after the regular class schedule.

Refund Policy

Once fees have been paid, there will be no refund provided for students leaving the school before the end of a semester or academic year.

Late Entry

Tuition fees will be pro-rated for students joining after the semester or school year has started.

Payment Schedule

1st payment (for semester period August – December) is due by mid-July – early August. 2nd payment (for semester period January – June) is due by mid-December.

Returning Students

A non-refundable seat deposit of Baht 20,000 will be billed during the second semester and must be paid in order to guarantee returning students placement in the following academic year's class.

Late Payment

Late payment will be charged at Baht 500 per day after exceeding the payment deadline.

Withdrawal

Students who wish to officially withdraw from school needs to complete and file a “Withdrawal Form” with the school prior to their last day of attendance.

Payment Forms

Payment may be made in form of check, cash or bank transfer. Payment must be made in Thai Baht currency.
