Every year, we support a good number of candidates through scholarships of various amounts, funded directly by Alliance Manchester Business School. The scholarships are awarded as part of the admissions process, normally at the same time as an offer is made. Most of the scholarships are granted on a rolling basis, so candidates who apply early may have a stronger chance. Alliance MBS Scholarships are only open to self-financing students.
Application format:
Application guidelines
You need to submit a complete application including the supporting documents: CV, essay, academic documents and test scores, by the deadline for your preferred application stage. Your application will only be considered for your chosen round if it is completed by the deadline date.
We will request your references after you submit your application form using the contact details you provide. We do not need to receive your references by the application deadline, however we will need to receive them before making a decision.
After you have submitted your application, we will email you an invitation to take the online video assessment, which you must complete by the corresponding video assessment deadline. When your application and video assessment are both complete, we will review your application and if your initial application is successful, you will be invited for a personal interview.
We strongly advise you to submit your application and your supporting documents at least a few days in advance of the deadline to ensure all aspects of your application are completed on time. This will give our admissions team the chance to process your application and let you know if anything is missing; it will also give you more time to complete the video assessment.
Please apply when you can present your best application. There is no disadvantage to applying in a later round. Scholarships are awarded when an offer is made, therefore if you are an international student and intend to apply for a scholarship, we advise you to apply at the latest by stage 7.
