We are committed to Safeguarding Children at all times, we have an established safeguarding culture with clear policies and procedures in place. The safety and welfare of all our pupils at Mayville Primary is our highest priority. In all matters relating to Child Protection the School will follow the procedures laid down by our own (or where appropriate the relevant child's) local authorities which is Waltham Forest Safeguarding Children Board (WFSCB) together with DfE guidance contained in Working Together to Safeguard Children (July 2018) and Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2020).
At our school we aim to provide our children with the best possible education and to develop the whole child by preparing and equipping them for the challenging and fast changing world in which we live. When a child starts our school, they get the opportunity to be part of what we call, ‘The Mayville Experience.’ This experience includes a curriculum which is broad and balanced and exclusive to Mayville Primary School.
Our approach to learning and teaching is based on the work of Carol Dweck, “Mindsets”. We encourage our pupils and staff to be lifelong learners and to believe that they can achieve anything they put their mind and effort into.
At Mayville, we offer our pupils and staff the opportunity to be creative and innovative in their approach to learning and teaching, using approaches and strategies that value effort, perseverance, co-operation, collaboration, problem solving and leadership skills within an inclusive, happy and stimulating learning environment.
We also believe that a close and trusting relationship between home and school, working together at all times to promote the aims and ethos of the school is important to the success of our pupils and the school. The staff and Trustees welcome your interest in our school and extend our sincere welcome to all interested parties.

Great school!! All of my children are doing well, they wake up every morning excited to go to school. The teachers are amazing. The head teacher is fantastic, she has developed the school to be one of the best schools in the area. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is interested in their children receiving a good all round quality education.

I've got nothing but praise for Mayville Primary School. I was surprised to read any sort of negative review about this school. The staff are so friendly and helpful. All the teachers and teaching assistants really care about the children and make sure the children are happy and successful. My family has moved around a lot and other schools I have had contact with over the last fifteen years have been nowhere near as good at making me and the children feel welcome. The school gets great results and the staff work very hard. The Head Teacher is really strong and determined to get the best from the pupils, and not just academically. The children get to go on lots of trips and try different clubs. My sister's children couldn't believe their cousins got to go to Euro Disney in Year 6! So glad my children got the chance to go there.

The school layout and playground are modern and brilliant, where staff is very helpful and welcoming. The kids are happy with the school in general and there is considerable improvement academically year by year.
