Welcome to Middle East University (MEU) , the university driven by the goal of preparing leaders and sustaining it.MEU's rise to eminence over the past 12 years has been the result of many factors: the contributions of dedicated faculty, the energy, enthusiasm and ingenuity of graduate and undergraduate students, the dedication and support of excellent administrative staff, the passion of our alumni to create a difference; and the support and active engagement of our Board of Trustees.

MEU is a diverse and welcoming community, with a beautiful well-equipped campus, which nurtures an institution-wide commitment to student engagement. It is big enough to have a national impact and presence, yet small enough that students are able to show a strong sense of community and lifelong coections with friends and mentors.

The Middle East University (MEU) was established on 30/6/2005 and began offering Master’s Degree programs right away.Two years later, the University began offering Bachelor’s degree programs in several majors, thus completing the link between knowledge and learning in the two stages of university education, the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.MEU is a national, educational, research, consultancy, and non -profit institution managed by a body of directors, a third of whom hold PhD degrees. It is an organ of the Middle East Company for Investment in Learning, which provides land lots, buildings, fixed assets, and other requirements for institutional accreditation. The University has a deep interest in knowledge as a driving force for spreading culture. It builds on the high scientific skills of students and prepares and provides them with such skills to fulfill the requirements of human development needed for keeping pace with international scientific development and its varied applications.

As universities are the lighthouses of science and knowledge, and as institutions manufacture future leaders, MEU contributes to fulfilling the motto “Knowledge is Strength”. Its founder built the foundations of this academic institution, taking this slogan as a guiding principle of realizing goals, against all potential adverse conditions. The University embodies this slogan by providing a unique scientific environment where students can discover means of acquiring knowledge. This is assured by its policies of recruiting teaching and administrative staff, of student admission selection processes, and in providing modern and advanced library, laboratories, and other facilities. This way, students find themselves immersed in a motivating scientific environment that is conducive for excellence and distinctiveness.

God has honored the sons of Adam, when He sent them prophets with divine messages, guided them and their descendants to the right, goodness and reconstruction of the world by work, science and knowledge. The excellence that we seek in the Middle East University requires us to harness the physical and moral capital to deepen the knowledge of its members, as knowledge is the ability for survival, development and sophistication. The University has provided a special environment, and attracted the elite characteristic of qualified teachers. It has also provided carefully prepared lesson plans by relevant experts, and a deliberate approach that links between the theoretical study and reality, able to embrace an ambitious student, and graduate a qualified leader to compete and prove the self nationally and globally.

The uniqueness of the university life that characterizes our university is related to the legislation of religious and national commitments and ideals. It is also linked to the strict discipline, compliance with laws, regulations and instructions, and its ability to employ academic freedom and administrative responsibility for the payment of this institution to greater prosperity and development.Our constant belief is that knowledge is trust, work is responsibility, the rule of law is sacred, and public morals are cultural heritage and human values must be adhered to and maintained.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research was found at the beginning of 2008 in the Middle East University.Duties and responsibilities were identified according to the instructions of accreditation rules for graduate study programs approved by the Accreditation Council of Higher Education.

On the top of its priorities is to improve the efficiency and competency of graduate studies' programs provided by different colleges, and upgrade the level of scientific research conducted by both faculty members and students, in order to enhance the positioning of the university in excellence, thereafter improving its competing status in education industry on local, regional, and international levels. Within this context, the deanship set a clear strategy for its long term objectives, reflected in work plans in agreement with its vision, mission and essential values, through the optimal use of available financial and human resources.In addition, the deanship is responsible of sending the top students of the university and others to study doctorate degree in top ranked universities around the world.
