Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana

Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana is an international school that provides educational opportunities for gifted students through International Baccalaureate programmes and whose mission is to develop intellectual community, intercultural understanding and the value of lifelong learning.

As a community, we provide learning and teaching of high quality (HQTL) through curriculum and further education courses. We care for the welfare and safety of students through the cultivation of national and personal values.

The Nazarbayev Intellectual School Astana branch of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools autonomous educational organization has the status of an International Baccalaureate World School, which implements the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP). International Baccalaureate schools share a common philosophy of high-quality international education. This program encourages students around the world to be active and compassionate, to learn throughout their lives, and to understand and respect the rights and views of others.

The school is a leader in the implementation of the International Baccalaureate programs in Kazakhstan. The school has a friendly, highly qualified teaching staff capable of giving students deep, solid knowledge.
