Established in 2012, Nazeer Hussain University started off as a private research university with the vision to make high-class education affordable for middle and proletariat working class of the country. The Society for the Unwell and Needy (SUN), a UK-registered charity has provided the financial assistance for university’s development. A Provisional Bill was generated for establishment of the university in 1999; the bill was successfully passed on 17th June 1999 by the Provisional Assembly.
