Founded in 1975, North Central Texas Academy (located on the beautiful, 500-acre campus of Happy Hill Farm) is an independent, accredited, coeducational, interdenominational college-preparatory, day, boarding, and international school.

Our Vision
To educate, train, and inspire children from all backgrounds to reach their God-given potential and become leaders with character and integrity.

Our Mission
North Central Texas Academy educates a unified, but diverse, student body for lifelong success by providing a comprehensive education from a Christian worldview that cultivates the mind, transforms the heart, and develops each student’s character and God-given abilities.

Our Beliefs
A fundamental belief — that each human being is created in the image of God — provides the strong spiritual underpinning for the mission of North Central Texas Academy.

Our Program
Happy Hill Farm’s campus provides a Christian boarding and day school serving children from North Texas, and around the world, who lack opportunity.

The boarding campus offers students a college-like learning experience at its accredited K-12 school, North Central Texas Academy, as well as experiential learning opportunities through a chapel and youth ministry facility, a full agricultural center and FFA program, beautiful living facilities, a dining hall, an equestrian arena, athletic fields, and so much more.

The day students and families add to the breadth of the program and open up new opportunities within the local community.  The Academy offers these students a much broader and diverse learning experience by attending a school with a Christian worldview and students from around the globe.

The goal of an NCTA education goes far beyond academics to creating the leaders of tomorrow.

Your support helps students become successful, productive members of society. Their own lives are immeasurably improved by an NCTA education, but they also influence and help their families, their friends, their coworkers, their employees, and the population at large, both in the United States and around the globe.

The diversity your support provides enriches every student. They learn to respect, value, and work with people of all backgrounds.

Knowing they have a community of support behind them also encourages the students. It fosters a desire to “pay it forward” after graduation, serving and caring for others.

North Central Texas Academy is dedicated to helping highly-motivated, underprivileged students with scholarships, as well as domestic and international students. Students from a variety of backgrounds are considered for admission, however, the expectations remain high. All aspects of the program are designed to teach specific values. Behavioral expectations for North Central Texas Academy students are based on these, and all students are expected to demonstrate:

  • Respect: Students are expected to display respect towards adults and display courtesy for the thoughts and feelings of others.
  • Responsibility: Students are expected to take responsibility for their own emotions, behavior, grades, possessions, and choices.
  • Integrity: Students are expected to show integrity by honoring their commitments and demonstrating honesty in all aspects of their lives.
  • Self-Discipline: Students are expected to set personal goals and strive to achieve these goals.
  • Compassion: Students are expected to grow in their ability to demonstrate love and kindness toward others.

North Central Texas Academy strives to maintain an atmosphere that is positive, supportive, and orderly, so that all students are able to live, work, and study in a healthy environment.

Discipline at the Academy, and in the residences, is based on a system of rewards and privileges. Every student must learn to accept fair and consistent discipline and eventually internalize it. Students must work hard to develop values and a proper style of behavior. Infractions of the rules of conduct may result in loss of privileges, detentions, time-out in the residences, missing athletic events and other outings, and eventually, dismissal from the Academy.

Each teacher and resident parent will establish classroom and residential expectations. Rules and consequences for not following them will be reviewed and reinforced with students.
