NUR International University

NUR International University is backed by 40 years of rich experience of Fatima Memorial System in Education, Policy Research and Health. The NUR Foundation is a sponsoring body of the University, which was incorporated on February 3, 2006. NUR Foundation is a not for profit Company Limited by Guarantee, incorporated under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 (XLVII of 1984). The NUR Foundation was granted a charter by the Government of the Punjab for establishing the University on February 26, 2015 and after that University was recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad. Through this charter, the University was given the legal right to offer degree awarding programs.

The Board of Directors of the NUR Foundation, being the sponsors of NIU, raise the necessary funds for the University’s operations and to meet its infrastructure requirements. The Board of Governors, the policy making body of the University, comprises leading members of the business community, academia and representatives of the HEC, PHEC and Punjab Government. Many members of the Board are representatives of the academia and form a critical link between the University and the academic world.

Since its inception in 2015, the University’s students get a chance to acquire Eastern and Western knowledge and the abilities to improve their future careers. The students will be developed as professional and through internships, job placements and other similar services that will put the students on a fast career advancement track.

The University has a modern campus that stimulate learning and for obtaining value-driven and applied research knowledge. The University has the dedication in accomplishing its aims, mission, vision and values by creating and spreading education and research, which will impact public policy.
