OKI International School

OKI International School Network, a fully private international school which cater preschoolers to advanced level students in English medium. Late Mr.Nimal Saparamadu is the brain child of this school with a great vision to mould students to become world class citizens. OKI International School Wattala, the parent school was inaugurated in Sept.1998 with 2 teachers 14 students. At present more than 200 teachers and over 2000 students attend at the main school. In the entire branch network the student population is approximately 5500 and the tutorial staff exceeds 500. OKI caters with both Cambridge and National curriculum around the network. This school network has its main school in Wattala town and five branch schools at Kandana, Kiribathgoda, Negombo, Biyagama and Kaduwela.

OKI International School is also a proud member of The International Schools of Sri Lanka (TISSL), which is an association formed and registered in order to ensure quality academic operations for the students of Sri Lanka. This association is consisted of 25 International Schools and it caters approximately for 60000 students of the nation.

• The school has introduced robotics education to the students in affiliation with SCCIP Japan.

Presently we offer classes for students from Play Group to A/L (Commerce Stream & Science Stream). The school operates in two locations. Pre-School to Grade 7 classes are conducted at (Junior Section). Pre-School to A/L classes are conducted at the main school, Wattala.

The school has a library, IT lab with Internet facilities and a well equipped Science Lab which are used to conduct classes up to A/L. The school has arranged associations and clubs such as English, Sinhala and Tamil Associations, Science and Commerce Associations, Prefects Unit, UN Club, Reading Club, Media and Broadcasting Club, Chess Club, Social Service Club, Aviation Club, Robotic Club, Debating Club, Gavel Club, Boys Scouts Unit, Cubs Scouts Unit and Girl Guides Unit for the skill development of the students.

In the field of extracurricular activities the school also offers Swimming, Cricket, Netball, Basketball, Badminton, Karate, Table Tennis and Athletics for its students
