Open Day – BC Academy International School & Nursery - 4 March 2026
BC Academy warmly invites prospective families to join us for our upcoming Open Day and experience a future-focused British education designed for students in Years 1 to 8.
Our Open Day offers parents the opportunity to explore how we are shaping the innovators of tomorrow through a balanced approach that combines academic excellence, innovation, leadership development, and strong pastoral care.
At BC Academy, our philosophy is built around three guiding pillars: Belong, Challenge, Achieve.
Belong – A Culture of Wellbeing and Inclusion
Families will experience a school environment where student voice, inclusion, and wellbeing are central to everyday learning. During the event, visitors will see our Student Council in action, meet our House Captains, and learn about the systems we use to monitor student engagement and progress. We believe that when students feel safe, valued, and connected, they thrive both personally and academically.
Challenge – Academic Depth and High Expectations
Our Open Day will showcase the strength of our academic provision, including assessment approaches, subject pathways, and examples of student work. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour key classrooms, meet teachers, and understand how we maintain high standards through structured teaching, purposeful homework, and continuous progress tracking. We also provide targeted support for Gifted and Talented students, including structured preparation for Olympiads and academic competitions.
Achieve – Future-Ready Learning
Innovation is embedded into daily learning at BC Academy. Families will explore our Future Tech Lab experience, including robotics challenges, AI prompt engineering activities, and student digital portfolios. Our curriculum integrates modern technology meaningfully, ensuring students develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. In addition, we nurture entrepreneurial leadership through real-world projects and student-led initiatives that build confidence and communication skills.
Parents will also gain insight into future pathways ensuring clarity and progression as students move through the school.
Throughout the morning, our Senior Leadership Team will be available to answer questions and provide a deeper understanding of our vision, curriculum, and personalised approach to education.
