Welcome to park view. Park View is a high performing community school in Tottenham, north London where your child will aspire, achieve and succeed.

Our commitment to developing young people into happy, high achieving and reflective learners is unwavering and we are proud to be a beacon of excellence in one of the world’s most exciting and diverse communities.

Throughout their time at Park View, your child will develop as a ‘Park View Learner’. This is someone who is an independent enquirer, creative thinker, reflective learner, team worker, self-manager and effective participator. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum where academic rigour is matched by an equally important love of the arts, music, dance, drama and sport.

Whether your child is a high attaining pupil, speaks English as an additional language or has special educational needs, we will ensure that they thrive and develop in a safe and caring learning environment. We actively promote the value of being outstanding citizens and strong British values underpin everything we do.

Our Mission Statement describes the overall goal of the school. "Every student to reach their potential".

Empowering for the Future:

  • Ensuring ‘Aspire ~ Achieve ~ Succeed’ is the reality for all
  • Taking pride in our school community on the part of students, building on our reputation for excellence.
  • Upholding a strong sense of tradition based on shared values that are embraced and celebrated within beyond the school.
  • Fostering ‘Park View Learner’ skills, which empower students to take ownership of their education, providing the skills required for college, work and life.
  • Offering an outstanding curriculum that ensures every student makes exceptional progress by being rich, varied and rigorous in every aspect from years 7 to 11.
  • Promoting activities, partnerships and networks that make a real difference for our community and beyond.
  • Making rapid progress right from the start so that expectations for year 7 are as high as for year 11.

We are committed to embedding a proactive equal opportunities ethos across the organisation for all members of the school community and promoting fundamental British values. We recognise that the school has a key role to play in leading local efforts to promote community cohesion, tackling social exclusion and as a force for good in general.

PSHCE stands for Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Economic education. Students develop skills in public speaking and debating; team work, leadership and building empathy. We also focus on the Park View Learner Skills. Topics covered include: Relationships, Empathy, Anti-Bullying strategies and Self-Esteem. Physical, Mental and Emotional Health including Drugs Education and Sexual Health.

The students also cover aspects of the UK Political and Democratic systems, the Criminal Justice system and Human Rights. They are given time to plan their Career progression, College Applications and Work Experience. They also study Financial Capability and have extra-curricular Enterprise clubs on offer.

There are also selected ‘drop-down’ theme days in Careers, Enterprise, Internationalism and Politics/Democracy. These encompass whole school events such as ‘Parkstock’ International festival, an Enterprise Theme Day, a Careers Fair and a mock General Election.

PSHCEe has strong links with BSafe (Anti-Bullying team), Careers, Internationalism, Sustainability and Enterprise coordinators and has assisted on a number of projects and awards.

The school has attained the International Schools Award as recognition of our excellent International work. We established a Comenius Regio Partnership with Polish Schools, NGOs and local government. We linked with the Citizenship Foundation, Haringey Council and Highgate Wood School to create Model United Nations project linking with schools in Poland Bedzin area council and the University of Silesia in Katowice.
