A Pelangi School education values balance; where developing creativity, happiness and wellbeing, positive relationships, an enquiring mind and a love of learning, is as important as achieving international academic standards. Our students are supported by a nurturing, family-like school environment, providing them with opportunities to explore and learn, take risks, try new things, be independent and grow confidently into their own unique characters.
Pelangi School is a private, not-for-profit school founded in 2006 by parents seeking an alternative educational experience for their children in Ubud, Bali. Fantastic school experience. My son did all his elementary school years here and it was amazing. Much more continuity than other international schools - most of his friends lived full time in Bali and stayed at the school for 5+ years. The teachers were inspiring and engaging. We were thrilled.

My 5y old went to 3 schools in Ubud: wood school (1 trimester), green school (camp), and pelangi (camp). His favorite school overall was Pelangi, hard to pinpoint why but he really loved it. Their camp has a mixture of very friendly staff, nice infrastructure, great activities at school like drawing and outside (turtle to the sea…), good food etc.
