Penn State York offers fifteen two-year and four-year programs that may be completed on our campus, in addition to multiple minors and certificate programs. Students may complete the first two years of their education at Penn State York before leaving to complete their academic program elsewhere at Penn State. In addition to earning a Penn State degree, students can continue to play the sport they love, participate in more than twenty student clubs and organizations, and make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Established in 1949 as a permanent facility, Penn State York is a campus of the Pennsylvania State University, a public university that educates students from the state, the nation, and the world. Penn State York offers eleven baccalaureate degrees, eight baccalaureate minors, five two-year associate degrees, and one masters degree. The campus also offers the first two years of most of the University’s more than 275 academic programs.

Our campus is located on 51 beautiful hillside acres overlooking the historic city of York in south-central Pennsylvania, a short drive from Baltimore, Maryland and two hours from Washington, D.C. We offer students an exceptional academic experience combined with a safe, personal environment.
