This boarding school provides life skills and opportunities for students to excel both academically and in areas of personal interest. Boarders have the opportunity to travel and experience America on school sponsored trips during school breaks at an additional charge. Students can stay year round, attend the traditional school year, then attend Camp Pillsbury for the summer or partial summer, if they choose to.
Pillsbury College Prep is the perfect setting for your boarding school needs. Beginning the Fall of new session, Pillsbury Prep will facilitate 2 locations, Owatonna, Minnesota and Tarpon Springs, Florida. The Minnesota location is equipped with 300 dorm rooms, classrooms with experienced educators, full-sized gym facilities, workout equipment, an onsite dining hall, and more. The Florida location provides experienced educators and is located in an environment that allows year round outdoor activities such as water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, boating and visits to the nearby beaches. Attending Pillsbury College Prep is a great cultural experience for all students.
Pillsbury College Prep prides themselves on knowing each student and helps them excel academically. At Pillsbury College Prep, we realize that not all students learn best under the same teaching style or at the same pace which is why we offer a blended academic program approach. Our focus is to match each individual student with the educational option that will optimize their learning and result in the greatest degree of success.
Balance is an integral component of successful individuals. Pillsbury College Prep boarding school promotes participation in afterschool and weekend activities. We provide numerous boarding school activities for students to express themselves and excel for personal growth. Activities include musical instruments, performing arts, arts & crafts, sports, gymnastics, dance, technology, horseback riding, boating (weather permitting), snow skiing/snowboarding, and more. Those interested in working a part time job have the ability to work at nearby establishments.
We focus not only on the educational growth of a student, but also on their personal growth. We know that not every student is alike. Therefore, we provide different academic options and match each student with the learning style that best suits their academic needs. We foster individuality by offering a wide array of activities for the students to participate in while not in class. This approach promotes a healthy balance between work and play. Our activities provide increased skill levels in areas of personal growth. We have several academic options for our boarders. The academic costs are included in our published boarding school tuition and rates.
