Plenty Valley Christian College

Established in 1981, Plenty Valley Christian College is a safe and nurturing Christ-centered learning community in Melbourne’s north eastern suburbs. Students from Kinder to Year 12 are encouraged to be courageous in their learning pursuits as they seek to understand themselves, others, God, and His world around them, all from a magnificent 20 acre setting with breathtaking views across to the Kinglake Ranges.

At Plenty Valley Christian College we are interested in the whole student, and have a desire to see them develop their God-given gifts and talents in all areas. Some students are great at maths, others friendship building, some excel at music, science or sport, and others have an amazing heart for the poor. We see all of these attributes, and many more, as important, and we want children to be discovering and growing their gifts and talents, ready to enter and impact their world.

How we do that at PVCC is through a solid, rigorous academic foundation; we pastorally care for students, we know them and they know us; we allow as much as possible for children to play hard and play well; we move and experiment and take measured risks and sometimes fail. These are all an integral part of growth, and we value each part of the process.

Not only do we want our students to stretch and grow and take risks, we want to do that as a college and as staff as well. For this reason we opened our brand new Early Years Building in 2018, which offers 3 and 4 Year Old Kinder, as well as being a new facility for our Prep – Grade 2 students. Several Middle School classrooms and learning support spaces have recently been refurbished and our latest project is a complete overhaul of our Secondary walkways, where the completed project will provide terrific covered outdoor thoroughfares as well as natural outdoor community meeting places and learning spaces for our secondary students and staff.
