Praxis builds and operates educational offerings in the Arabian Gulf (GCC) region. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Al Mutatawera Gulf General Trading LLC.
The first ins6tution added to the Praxis portfolio is The Arbor School, a coeducational Early Years Foundation Stage, Primary and Secondary school in al Furjan District, Dubai, set to open in August 2018.
The Arbor School will provide a high-standard of education based on the National Curriculum for England, enriched with a compassionate, ethical outlook focused on eco-literacy, sustainability and environmental justice. This educational vision will be embedded within the curriculum of The Arbor School in Al-Furjan and reflected in every lesson and task. Through project-based and experiential learning, children will plan, collaborate, reflect and make meaningful changes to the world around them in a fully inclusive and supportive environment. The Arbor School will also benefit from both a scientist and artist in residence, who will inspire the whole school community to think and act differently, facilitating their engagement with environmental projects both locally and globally. In support of this vision, the school boasts top-class facilities, using a bespoke biodome and gardens as key learning spaces to engage children in a deeper understanding of their ecology and environment.
