Repton is a very special place to study.  Founded in 1557, our co-educational school is an integral part of the village of Repton in South Derbyshire.

With around 600 pupils aged 13 - 18 years old, the School is large enough to create a 'buzz', yet small enough for all to flourish and get to know one another.  We have ten Houses and all meals are taken within them, further reinforcing the family and caring atmosphere.

We are recognized as one of the top sporting schools in the UK and excel at Hockey, Football, Tennis and Cricket.  Our Music and Art departments are very strong and we have an outstanding record in Drama.  A Repton education is one that encompasses the whole person through a rich balance of three primary facets of school life; the educational, the pastoral and the co-curricular.

We believe in the pursuit of academic excellence and success, of course, but this is not at the expense of an all-round and broad education, as the two are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary they complement one another. Our pupils flourish both in and out of the classroom and they develop the skills, qualities and values that will lead to a successful life. We passionately believe that the quality of an education is seen less in the questions children answer than in the questions they ask.
