Welcome to Scarborough College.  We are a thriving boarding and day school, steeped in history and in a beautiful location.  Scarborough College enjoys close proximity to the North York Moors, the Wolds and the stunning Yorkshire Coast.  You can find our beautiful Victorian-age school on the top of the South Cliff, overlooking the South Bay of Scarborough.

At Scarborough College we believe that all pupils have hidden talents.  Through our exciting and academically challenging curriculum, we aim to inspire your child to discover a love of learning.  We strive to develop a ‘can do’ attitude and become the best possible version of themselves.

We offer an outstanding education in a climate of aspiration, from the Pre School at 3 years old, through GCSEs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Sixth Form.  In addition, we offer an exceptional range of co-curricular activities.  Our nationally recognised Yorkshire Grit programme is a vital part of the curriculum.  We designed Yorkshire Grit to ensure that we challenge pupils beyond the classroom and become resilient, collaborative, compassionate and adventurous individuals.

Our most recent inspection report emphasises that Scarborough College is a family.  Our staff commit themselves to providing an individualised journey for every pupil.
