Schools in Luxembourg share the same holiday dates across the country. The school academic year begins in mid-September and ends in mid-July. During the academic year, there are holidays for Autumn/All Saints, Christmas, winter, Spring/Pentecost, and summer, including days off for national holidays.
The school holiday dates for private schools may slightly differ from the state schools. The Ministry of Education, Children and Youth declares the school holidays. For more updated information about school holidays in Luxembourg, please visit individual school websites.
