Independence Day
The Nigerian Independence Day marks the country’s independence from British rule in 1960.

The Sambisa Memorial Day mourns the victims of the Boko Haram insurgents and remembers the fallen soldiers and volunteers who sacrificed their lives in the battle.
Christmas Day
