Security Manager

Job Summary

Reporting into the Managing Director we are looking for a Security Manager to be based in Dubai.  The position will oversee the security, safety & risk management, emergency response, plans & systems for the company’s operations in Libya, Iraq and Italy.

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of HS&S practices, compliance, and strong knowledge of cultural and political contexts in Iraq and In-depth knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and industry regulations. Some other of the key tasks of the role will be:

• The organization and management of all related security tasks.
• The coordination of Local Security Companies.
• The implementation and management of security and logistics procedures in compliance with the Model 231 and the Risk Assessment Documentation (DVR).
• The Induction and training to Company Staff.
• To provide Company with cost effective solutions and control measures in line with industry best practice and recognised industry standards.
• To prepare technical proposals and negotiate contracts with third parties, focusing on project HS&S objectives, scopes of works and plans. Co-ordinate across multiple departments to create and present hands-on solutions for risk-averse security programme services to improve overall efficiency of security control framework.
• Strategically plan, develop, and implement the necessary effective HS&S risk management and emergency response plans to meet the Company’s dynamic project achievement targets.
• Manage all security costing and spearheaded security contracts.
• Controls and drive resolution of critical issues on all projects.
• Main interaction with: Managing Director, COO, Project Director, Site Project Manager, Site Construction Manager.
