Founded in 1995, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa has made a serious commitment in educating children by placing a strong focus on knowledge, faith, and character as the ideals goals of education.

More than 1,750 students of diverse backgrounds attend SHB, which welcomes any student who seeks an outstanding school acclaimed for its academic value through its remarkable teaching-learning programs, national and international curricula, well-rounded education, competent faculty and staff, equal opportunities through scholarship grants, a fostering atmosphere, and an education that enables them not only to be empowered citizens of Indonesia but to be globally competitive as well.

As part of PT. Modern Group, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa make every effort to provide students with school facilities and teaching and learning tools that meet the standards of the national and global education. Sports facilities, a library, a multimedia room on each campus, laboratory science, health room, and security system equipped with friendly staffs and cctv technology on every corner of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa’s buildings.

Our preschool department was created with the purpose of providing children with a safe and nurturing environment where they can play, learn, and have fun while integrating quality childcare and early education based on a child-centered program. Our curriculum- a combination of both National and Creative Curricula- opens up a new world of wonder and excitement to inspire and stretch the young minds and lay the foundation for later learning.

Ours is a place where your child can grow in every facet in reference to the multiple intelligence theory. We promote learning which focuses on their interests, strengths, and needs by developing psychomotor skills, spatial abilities, creativity, visual intelligence, literacy, and numeracy while fostering their emotional and mental growth.

Children also enjoy a range of well-planned and interesting group-learning experiences that incorporate science and the arts. These help increase the student’s awareness of the world around them, promote critical thinking skills, boost their talents, and offer them an excellent head start with the most memorable preschool years.

Above everything, we consider our preschool to be an extension of your child’s family. Hence, we actively work toward building a trusted partnership with parents through clear lines of communication, encouraging parental involvement in school activities, and in creating a culture of balance between home and school.

The first year of primary school is a milestone in the lives of children. It is a time when they move forward towards independence in a new setting. With a stimulating environment, we aim to make this transition as smooth and exciting as possible to support their growth, and learning.

Academically, we use both the National Curriculum and the Cambridge International Program that widely provide an interesting and challenging atmosphere to facilitate intellectual maturity, a love for lifelong learning, and excellence. We achieve this by applying teaching methods and techniques which are based on logical development, professional experience, a loving and warm character, and a genuine interest in educating young children.

Each year, our sixth graders not only join the national government examinations but they also take part in the Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations.

We also ensure that our students will achieve their full potential as individuals, as members of their family and the broader community by our after-school programs which help them develop a sense of self, positive self-image, growing sense of individuality, and responsible citizenship in preparation for their teenage years ahead.
